    Hi all,

Me and a friend are attending Ground Zero Weekender for the first time this year and we were thinking of getting some radios so that we could communicate to each other if we loose one another for example..

I would just like some advice on some radios that we could get, but what we are looking for is nothing too expensive and with decent range..

I don't know a lot about radios but another thing, would there be a problem between which channels to use if the marshalls are all on one channel, how do you know if you've picked an empty channel for example.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

Cheers, and see you at the GZ weekender!
    Jim

    Re: Radios

I have no idea about GZ, but my local use licenced business radios for the Marshals. If that's the case at GZ as well, any PMR446 radio will do what you want.

That should keep you going. Feel free to ask in one of the existing threads if your questions aren't answered
