Is there a way to prove/identify G&P bodies ?

I have a G&P m4 Spec Ops which has been painted over and the markings are lost. Is there a way to prove to a new buyer that it is a genuine G&P product?!

I would imagine it is laser etched in, but someone with a G&P should be able to confirm this
