Looks like a clone Serpa to me, not a FOBUS.

Some people love the clones and use them for years without any problems, but other people seem to break theirs quite easily. They aren't as good as genuine Blackhawk ones - but they'll do the job.

Edit: I have a genuine 1911 Serpa and I love it to pieces. I prefer to mount it on my MOLLE vest opposed to on my thigh though.

The paddle that you can see (small bit that is near the muzzle end of the holster) is for attaching to your waistband/belt.

The larger piece is a drop leg platform. 2 straps attach to your belt in a Y shape and 2 straps go around your thigh.

The holster is screwed in to either the drop leg or the paddle with 3 screws.

        Hope this helps

        Ps.

They are very comfortable on a drop leg and keep your pistol very safe. and yes it is a Serpa Level 2 clone

id like a black hawk... but to be honest, its to pricy for a holster for me..

so would you say its worth getting this??

ive also seen it with just the bit that attached to your belt for about the same price....

          cheers guys

            Yes, they are expensive.

Yes, probably would be worth getting it. You don't want to spend £40-£50 on a holster to discover you hate it.

Genuine ones come with a paddle mount and a belt mount, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a separate belt mount.

The drop panel you would have to get separately.
You ONLY get the holster, paddle mount and belt mount with Blackhawks. You would have to buy the drop leg/MOLLE mount (called a S.T.R.I.K.E platform) separately.

I'd say for £24.99 it's worth it, but as I said, the Blackhawk one is of a much higher quality.

                  Re: any one tried/review for..

The clone should come with everything you see in the pic. I've ordered 3 and they have come with everything but the belt attachment. (not needed if you have a drop leg)

The real Blackhawk you have to buy each component seperate.

                  Real holster £40-50
                  Real Drop leg panel £50-60
                  Real Mag holder £15-20
                  Real torch holder £15-20

So £120-140 if you bought all the Genuine stuff Or £24.99 if you buy all the clone. So yep definately buy the clone

OP: Google FOBUS and Safariland holsters too, they are also very highly regarded.

I don't know if they're all leather, but yeah, the belt-mounted types.
