  • BB Weight?

What weight is most fired? .2's or .25? For an AEG.

    Re: BB Weight?

Most used by players I would say is the .2 bb as they are cheaper and get more than the .25 bags.

Tend to use the .25 is used in an upgraded aeg that does 350 fps with upgrades.
For starting off the .2's are fine

            Re: BB Weight?

I had been using .2's for the last few years, and now have switched to .25's in all my AEGs. I have noticed a measurable increase in accuracy and range.

I do however use .2's in my shotgun- I would use a mix of .2's and .12's but the .12's are usually crappy quality, so I stick to just the .2's!

            In my opinion,
            <310 fps: 0.2g BBs
            310-350 fps: 0.25g BBs
            >350 fps: 0.3g BBs (possibly more g on your set-up)

As for the difference in price on 0.2g's and 0.25g's:
            I usually get 5500 0.2g's for £10 at my site, and;
            I usually get 5000 0.25g's for £10.

personally i use 0.23g bbs, best of both worlds and about the same price as 0.2gs

                  Re: BB Weight?

Only for chronographing. (the chrono test) which you use 0.2g BBs.
Otherwise you could put really heavy ammo in a hot gun to bring it down to legal fps, then switch back again!

Your weapon(s) MUST be within legal and site FPS limits. Varying on their fire modes.
