marui hi capa 4.3 & 5.1 slides

after much time of examining pictures and research into slides I'v only just realised that the slides on each pistol look similiar in dimensions in many ways; basically if i were to buy a slide for say the 4.3 would it fit the 5.1 also?

You can indeed. If you buy the full assembly it's just a straight swap.

However if you buy a blank slide you'll need a new inner, outer, spring guide rod and spring set. Also the 5.1 uses a bowmar (don't know how to spell it) sight. Which has a different cut out to the 4.3 slide. So make sure you buy the right sight for the right slide
