krylon - which shade of brown is tan

Im going to kyrlon up a couple of parts i want tan instead of black, the site i was looking at lists several shades but not one called tan - they have brown, karki and light brown

Anyone know which is actually tan or is there a shade of krylon called tan

I Think khaki is the tan paint,iv'e used it and it looks exactly the same as tan.

You could try looking at other paint ranges, I believe Humbrol do a colour that's very close to Magpul's dark earth colour. It's number 29 and called dark earth iirc.

Krylon khaki has a bit of a greenish tint to my eyes. They have a colour called Sand Dune which is more like tan. The Medium Brown is the closest Krylon to dark earth. The Dark Brown is practically black it's so dark, so it makes a good base colour!

halfords camo paint range in khaki is close and fairly easy to get
