G&G L85 battery help
14 August, 2011, 14:53
Just bought one of these and I'm hoping it arrives tomorrow. The shop I bought from is in Midlothian and they suggested I use an 11.1v LiPo. I don't mind the LiPo as I moved all my AEG's over a year ago and I'm currently changing to deans.
My question is this suggestion a bit overzealous? I'm also getting the Madbull DD RIS for it so I assume I need the stock stube type, correct me if I'm wrong.
Cheers all

11.1v may be a bit OTT for a standard G&G to be honest.
My advise would be to go with a 7.4v split pack, the Madbull RIS does give a decent amount of battery space but still not for any more than a split lipo pack.
