Re: affordable pistol
KJW M9, picked mine up for £60 brand new - and it's never let me down
. It also takes TM M9 mags.

It's got to be a 1911 really, so look at the KJW which is rock solid if you don't mind the lack of trades. If you want the trades, try for a used TM.

Re: affordable pistol
If you want it to go with the load out - TM 1911
If you want something 'affordable' - KJW M9

Re: affordable pistol
If it's affordable you're after. You can't go far wrong with a UHC revolver. Mainly for looks, or as a very last ditch weapon. £25 spring revolver.

Yes, to go with a Thompson loadout.
I'm aware that the 1911 would be the
best
option for looks, but the OP asks about affordability. Revolvers were also prevalent around the time.
Unless I'm very much mistaken he wants
cheap
also? £25 can't go far wrong.

KWA Glock 19, most amazing pistol ever!!! Just bloody works and is totally reliable ( personal experience and not backed up by anything other than mine has never failed ) and can pick them up used on here for anything between £55-£95!!!
