As far as I can tell, the Kart EBR externals are just a copy of the G&P EBR Kit.. if that takes a TM gearbox I'd guess the Kart will too. Best to check up on that though.

Unless you have a TM gearbox knocking around but if that was the case you`d be able to see if it fit

Unless you have a TM gearbox knocking around but if that was the case you`d be able to see if it fit

becuase tm does the best version 7 gearbox.

Not every gearbox has the availability of parts of the version 2.

Tm makes gearboxs for all versions its such a safe better going tm when doing a project.

to answer the original post, the tm gearbox will fit no problems but you will also need a TM hop unit and Tm outer barrel if you want to fit an aftermaket barrel.

That said it was 5 years ago i did it.

Basically the general rule is stay away from the karts as the biggest problem on them is the weak join between the metal body and handle section, if you fart in the wrong direction it will snap. And getting replacments is next to impossible.

If you want an ebr save up for the Classic army version, its by far the best and ive tried them all.

Does fit i got a cyma in one
But omfd ! The like building a receiver from plaster !
Tilt it slightly BOOM ! handle snapped off ! So i epoxxied that back on
Previous owner of the body broke it and rivited pot metal back together … lol
So cut short yes it will fit with one small cut behind the grip to alow the motor housing to sit correctly
But its a waste of money good job i only payed pennies for mine :/

ive done this,you will need the motor houseing from the kart and it takes a little fileing also some of the bodt of the gun needs fileing as for some reason the kart box is longer,can be done but its definatly not a drop in .there is a good reason to do it though as the trigger re-set arm for semi on the kart is longer and if it breaks as they do you cannot easily replace it.
