  • Servisol Silicone Grease 70

    Hi guys,

I've just bought a can of this from Maplins for my Glock and I've just sprayed a small amount of the return slide and hammer and it's left a sticky white residue (¬_¬) all over the plastic and metal furniture. Would anyone recommend using this stuff again and if not is there an alternative you can recommend?

    Thanks,

    Olphy.

It's grease in a spray can? How viscous is it when you spray it and do you know what's causing the White residue?

I couldn't be 100%, it's in an aerosol can. The white residue seems to have gone away now, i've sprayed a bit on the hammer of my MP7 and nothing seems to have cropped up. I know some people recommend certain silicone oils for this and that and I've spent too much on my guns to have them ruined by a can of £6 grease so I thought I would check it on here first...
