Krylon paint, Sand or Khai?

I'm going to paint my ICS lower receiver to tan, and I want to know which one is more close to Magpul MOE pistol grip

Is Krylon Sand or Khaki closest to Krylon Sand or Khaki?

The answer to that would be yes... Really though eithers good, I suggest you layer it with a base coat of brown or something. Flat tan looks very pale.

Tamiya khaki, and it's easier to buy over here. Sand is very very light.

Please have look the color chart here.. Khai looks lighter than sand..

neither are close to it tbh

shame they dont make sand dune anymore as that was a dark tan.. i got a tiny bit left in my tin
but even that wasnt close to DE

but either way you want to mist over with the brown to darken it up

Krylon khaki is closest and much 'duller', Krylon sand is much more yellow.

In this pic, the base colour for the top one is Khaki, the bottom one is sand:



I put a magpul pistol grip next to them and the Khaki is far closer, not a bad match at all.

maybe not Krylon, I will get some duracoat from US, they have Magpul Dark Earth.

I used tamiya khaki to touch up the body of my g&p m4 moe, de, near as perfect match, simples
