    What fps are you running?
As heavy as possible really. Absolute minimum should be .3g.
    Probably .36g/.4g.

Alot of tests show that 0.3's are actually the most affective with s 450 fps rifle which i assume you are shooting at. Look at the airsoft tragectories project. Lot of info but you will find what you are looking for.

Hello Kendarr, welcome to the forum.

It depends on your set up what weight it is best to use.

When asking for help it is difficult for us to know the information you are keeping to yourself...lol. So you need to explain what gun, fps and sometimes even down to barrel as someone may have found certain barrels dont work overly well with certain bb's.

But there has been a lot of testing and it was found that for all round use 0.3's were the bestest.

It is like asking what is the nicest sandwich for lunch...many may say cheese but cheese makes me vomit!

Re: Best Round Weight to use for snipers?

at 475fps there isn't that much difference in ranges between .4,.36 & .3's. obviously .4's are more consistent and less effected by wind. BUT .3s are more than half the price of .4's. another factor is .36 (green) are hardest to trace in flight, then .4s (coffee) and .3s are very easy to trace. So if you are not bothered about the cost than .4s are best but its all really personal preference. Ive personally tested all 3 of these weights myself but never tried .43's so i dont know about them.

My own preference for 500 fps is the Madbull 0.4's.

Re: Best Round Weight to use for snipers?

              Currently I have .25, .3, .36, .4, .43 and I find that at the moment I'm using the .3's more than anything.

But I use them all in different guns and setups, currently I've been using my ARES M110 and that loves blaster .3's.

But my Classic Army M24 seems to love blaster devil .36's more than .30's

I do have heavier BB's but I only bring those out when there's a strong wind on the day.

I find that .30 to .4 are a good weight for anything 430+ but that's just my personal experience! so other opinions may differ!

I hope some of this can help!
