Simple Question G36K Mags
7 September, 2011, 14:22
If I buy G36 high capacity magazines will they work in my G36K? Stupid question probably but I'm not sure.
The model is Ares, link:

Thanks!

Re: Simple Question G36K Mags
You should be fine, but some guns don't like certain brands of mag, so be careful with that

Re: Simple Question G36K Mags
As above be wary of brands, however if a mag fits a G36c it will fit the rest of the G36 family (K, KE, etc), unless they are fitted with an M4 Magwell conversion, obviously

Re: Simple Question G36K Mags
I have the G36 from the link.
I use STAR magazines which work flawlessly,
They also work with TM magazines.
There is usually an ARES highcap on zeroone for about £20 but I think its out of stock atm.
All the magwells in the ARES G36 range are identical, its mainly the barrel and the top rail/ carry handle that differ

Looking for another TM G17 and a TM M870
