Is the Ares AW-338 and the Star-338 the same?

please help i need quick responses!
i am purchasing this gun real soon and i found a STAR version and an ARES version but i dont know which to get?
i have heard they are the same!
please help!
I have a lot of stuff for sale. e.g Equipment, Accsessories, Gear, Camo. Contact me if you are interested.

Star and Ares are one and the same. Long story here but the factory make the guns and now sell them as Ares to us and manufacture the Star ones as well.

I don't know how true the above statements are, it was my understanding that there was a partnership or that they were even the same company, but ARES left STAR and apparently improved the weapons that were currently being produced e.g. the metals gear box in an ARES SA80 wont be found in the STAR version although they are identical in pretty much every other way...

Cant go in to too much depth but i have on very good authority that they are one and the same.
The Ares SA80 is exactly the same as the Star one as well by the way and still has the ABS gearbox ( see wgcshop to confirm this )
