If you new to the game and you're thinking about buying a RIF, I'd suggest you take a look at the JG G36c. They're great little guns, with loads of potential suiting most playing styles. Although they might be a little hot to begin with and require some downgrading to be suitable for play.

However if you've yet to get yourself some quality eye wear for skirmishing that'd be a nice start, or even your own pair of cover-alls or DPM. Wearing other peoples kit or a site's hire kit doesn't compare to having your own!

If your after some sort of vest, check out the second-hand gear available, the budget level viper range, or get some PLCE.

I'd have hated to join this forums with responses like you were giving.

Though the OP needs to tell us what he has already if anything, if you don't-

Spend it on 3 skirmishes (will take up most of your £100) taking a UKARA stamp each time for it.

Then and only then, decide whether you want to buy an airsoft rifle and continue the sport.

with your 3 skirmishes under your belt get UKARA registration,

or you will have to buy a 2 tone rifle (if you are getting into airsoft proper you will not want a 2 tone)

I have some bad news for you though. Once you have done all this, prices only start at £100 for a second hand chinese clone usually.

For a full load of kit and a decent gun, I reckon
£75 for a set of clothes, goggles and boots, most likely second hand
£100 for semi decent second hand rifle- i'd take a G36 or MP5, they will get you wherever you want to go for the most part.

So you are looking at nearer £200 to skirmish in at least non-civi clothing and with your own rifle.

If I were you I would get saving


If you aren't fussed about wearing camoflage, providing you have UKARA registration, £100 should get you a second hand JG rifle no problems, your best bet to start out, but you WILL need eye protection.

Buy one Madbull king shell and some BB's a speed loader and a bottle of gas.

If you can skirm with only those things you are ready for anything.


Serious advise though is to wait until you have the UKARA defence and then go about plotting what to spend your cash on.

Then it's into the dark and terrifying territories of the 'The List'.

The List is long, expensive, time consuming and often unfordable in a single year.

The List is a catalog of every piece of kit, weaponry, attachment, upgrade, vest, gas can, charger adaptor you want.

Your mind WILL spend a lot of time on The List. Write it down, it will drive you less crazy.

We all have our own The List.

i think the 3 skirmish route is a good call.......because you do need to meet certain criterias in order to buy a rif...unless your after a cheap second hand two tone clone,then i would suggest you go for a jg g36C two tone

If you want a decent second hand Sniper rifle, your be looking at 130-150 (Thats with add ons). There are some for £100 but you pay for what you get really.

However, play three games, get a licence. Then look to buying a gun of your gaming style. =D
