Over run with ASCU's.

Anyone else have this, I just used a Classic Army motor with a 7.4 and got over run and the ASCU didn't stop the system at the right time and allowed it to unwind. So basically you need to have the ARL in there or else you may well have problems.

However, using an Ultimate torque motor has elliviated the problem.

Re: Over run with ASCU's.
Yup, fairly known issue. Where the problem presents either a higher torque motor or slower battery solves it.

See if the 14.8 makes the ultra torque motor over run

Re: Over run with ASCU's.
lol...The 14.8 kills any warranty.
It was only a smallish 7.4, well 2200 20C crane stock.
I tried an Element max speed too and they as we all know have far more torque than ''normal'' motors. Still the same thing.
It's pretty nippy on the 1000mAh 11.1 45C. I wonder if I can do jags crane stock mod to fit it in.

Re: Over run with ASCU's.
Seems about the mark. I found the 1600mah worked fine, but 1900mah over run. That was with the G&P M120.
I've got a 2600 in there now, with SHS torque and no ARL .... no overspin.
