Hey i know this is an incredibly newbie question but if you have all you're gear and you intend to go as walking on do you have to book in advance or do you just turn up?

depends on the site, some places like you to book in advance so they have an idea of numbers, other sites arent so bothered.

I think Most sites prefer it if you book, but People who book tend to borrow equipment and guns. if you have all the gear and Ammo you need for the day (or Weekend) I think they will let you come on the site if they have room for you

If you are looking at sites which use MOD bases, they have to be booked in advance for security reasons. Some even need a security clearance done, so you have to give them name, address, date of birth etc...
