right, so time to choose another aeg, ive got the huge list down to two and now im stuck. Its a choice between the Kalash/Dboys M16a4 or the JG G36k (scoped version). i like the look of both of them, buts it reliability im looking for...

I've got a d-boys M4 and it's great. Solid as a rock and with an element hop and longer TB it's got good range and accuracy.

I've held a kalash AK and that too felt solid and the guy who it belongs to says it's really good. What their M16's are like I don't know, but if their AK's are anything to go by they should be pretty good.

JG G36 - excellent reputation, but I found them a little too wobbly for my liking.

thats whats putting me of the g36, the wobbliness of it

I had a Kalash Dboys 416, the externals were solid but the internals werent the best

at the moment im more on the m16's side...

+1 on what robin said but if any wobble I have felt it on the m4 not the g36?

Anyways both great guns. I would say that it's down to you to which one you think looks the most appealing.

Got a Dboys M4 and a JG G36K, both are great but I do find I have more options with adding accessories with the M4, M203, lights, lasers, sights and been all metal it just feels better than the G36. Get the M4 first then the G36K.

the scope it rubbish
your best idea get a flat rail, and add a proper red dot or actually scope

Get what you like, both of the weapons are good models but it depend on what your plans are as you move forward. Do you want something you can modify at a later date etc

I personally like both but the G36 being a newer design would get my vote but as pointed out the rail version so you can add your own scope/lazer etc

Basically i want something thats, cheap-ish, looks good, and i can just use and use without worrying about breaking every minute of the day, not really looking to upgrade it

or buy my CA m15 external body and put a mechbox in it!

look at the guns used as rentals at your local site

rental guns get real heavy use week in and week out

so maybe use that as a benchmark

most of them are JG guns.. no actually all of them are JG guns haha. mmm.. i think i might get the g36K

but before i do, has any one got a dboys aeg with the black gearbox? i would like to know what the quality of those are like, as the m16 comes with one i believe..

go for the JG, much more reliable and has a wider range of compatable extras.
