Re: M14 Advice.
i would honestly say keep you money and get a TM m14 if you can, but if you can only afford the ACM m14 fair enough.
heres my TM m14 with no internal upgrades, more external but i don't skirmish with it like this any more.

Re: M14 Advice.
I recommend the G&G Soc 16
These are usually ÂŁ270 - ÂŁ325 but zero one have them on sale for ÂŁ199
Comes firing at 350fps
Comes with fitted 6.035 Tightbore barrel as stock!
Comes with 470 high cap
100 quid cheaper than TM
Great internal and external quality
If you think about it - if you buy a cheapsoft m14 its going to cost 130ish - add 70 quid and you have yourself a very high end aeg
My SOC16

Re: M14 Advice.
you missed out the fact that they aren't as high quality as TM :D would still chose TM over G&G unless i was really pushed for money

Re: M14 Advice.
Having tested both i would go for the G&G SOC16
very sturdy
Excellent quaility (on par if not better than tm's)
Beastly internals as stock!
and like marksman already said a very pleasing price from zero one
if you after a good acm m14 you really cant go wrong with a CYMA either

Agree 100%. The G&G seems to age better than the TM, still being solid after frequent use and ÂŁ199 is a blinding deal!
As for the CYMA, it's the best of the clones, coming with a TB barrel and metal bushings as standard and is a full on clone of a TM

Re: M14 Advice.
Thanks for all the replys guys, its a very tight choice between the G&G and the CYMA at the moment.
Ill do a little more research, check a few deals and hopefully have a shiney new M14 very soon.
Cheers fellas.

Re: M14 Advice.
if you ask me from what it sounds like you should save up just that little extra for the G&G one, though cause i said that doesn't mean i'd get a G&G one instead of a TM still

Re: M14 Advice.
i'd avoid a G&G (and did, I bought a cyma) due to the fact you have to use g'&g mags only, and its not as if theres a huge amount of choice out there as it is, i.e. hicaps and mids only, no lows, go with cyma or a second hand tm

Re: M14 Advice.
If you do go with G&G make sure you get the soc 16 like i did as it is the fourth version with all previous problems sorted. Best performing/value for money M14 on the market for sure. No upgrading needed.
Classic Army low, mids and high caps work in the G&G. Shh not many people know that!!
Ive owned the TM, G&G(Soc 16), AGM M14's
G&G Soc 16 all that way!!!! ÂŁ199.95 BARGAIN OF THE YEAR

Re: M14 Advice.
Sorry, have to say that the TM is still the way to go!
The G&G may be a bit better looking and the Cyma although very good still needs a few quid spent on it. Look around on the forums people are always buying these because of the famous range or because they fancy themselves as a Delta Sniper! but once they have lugged a big heavy gun around the woods for a couple of days they soon regret not buying a much lighter option. So scan the forums wait till some one is desperate and pick a lightly used TM that will run for ever. And they shoot almost the same whether you upgrade them or not!
This is my opinion and you are welcome to it. :D

Re: M14 Advice.
TM And CYMA a close second.
The G&G one wouldnt work when I got it due to a very poortly assembled and made trigger group. My TM one is till going strong nearly 4 years later. Nuff said.

Re: M14 Advice.
Well i should be placing my order for an M14 in about a week and a half. so unless i find a pre-owned TM for a good price ill be buying the CYMA version as theyre only 100quid brand new, leaving me a nice chuck on cash towards upgrades.
Thanks for all the replys guys!!
Cheers,
Gaz.

Re: M14 Advice.
I have the TM m14 socom and it's great. Only thing you really need to do if you like is get a 6.03 inner barrel, even in there stock form there hard to beat.
I'm slightly put off about the G&G because of the reviews about the G&G M14 veteran, i think thats what it was called anyway? Basically the majority of them had some fairly large issues, which goes with my opinion of G&G that they have nice outsides but not so good insides.
