    Hi,
I am fairly new to airsoft and was thinking of getting a gas blow back pistol

i'm not worried about the price but i'm looking for a good quality ,accurate, fairly powerful pistol, semi-auto and preferably metal

i have been looking at the KJ m9 but am still open minded

    any help would be great

    Thanks

    Re: Side arm

    You picked a good one.

The kj m9 has a great kick, good power, reliable, metal slide and is co2 ready which means you can buy co2 mags and normal gas mags for it so you can use the green gas in the summer and co2 in the winter.

    Nice choice - buy that.

(edit oh and when you use the co2 mags even in the summer its max fps is 350fps which is limt friendly, so you could use co2 all year round if you wanted)

very crisp blowback with green gas and co2

    green gas - 300fps
    co2 - 350fps

Personally im not a fan of the m9 but i can still tell that it is a good gbb pistol. Its got all the right concepts for an excellant skirmishing pistol.

          Re: Side arm

For the sake of saving 20/30 quid second hand you are safer buying a new pistol.

It save disappointment of receiving a dud gun.

Common second hand gbb problems that people try shift off without tell the buyer
          - Sticky slides
          - Leaky mags
          - Worn hammer springs
          - Hop is broken

People dont sell perfectly good gbb's for no reason - unless they need money

Thats not to say that all second hand sales are like that but be sure to buy from trusted sellers when it comes to gbb's. (or buy new)

I would go for a TM Sig 226. I have one and its just plain WIN.

Pop along to a skirmish and ask a few players if you can have ago with their guns, most are willing to let you have a shoot.
See what feels good in your hands.
Im a big 1911 fan, mainly due to the amount of modifications available, can really personalise them.

Three reasons to stand up: 1. To get the remote 2. To go to the bathroom 3. Because you’re the real slim shady

                      anything western arms

expensive but damn amazing gas pistols

or TM second best, their glock 17 is lovely

for USP or a glock 18c - KSC also damn fine beasts

cheap ones are good but if its going to get heavy use then get a more expensive brand

                            KJW and TM

KJW has metal slide - the tm does not

Have a look about for a KJW co2 1911 - they are sweet (full metal, 350fps, reliable, work all year round, look good)

You can get them in the UK - i have pm'd you
