  • Army Armament Glock 17

Hi guys, I'm looking for a first GBB pistol and the AA R17 Glock copy looks within my price range. Does anyone have any experience with this particular gun? If so would you reccomend it? P.s. What magazines is it compatible with?

    Cheers

Very good gun, just need to replace the hop rubber and you have some nice performance. HFC Glocks are also really good.

Urm, I did like it but the trigger mech wore out on mine (heard this happens a lot). It would just randomly fire on full auto when I cocked it.

      Its compatible with TM mags.

      Cheers

Cheers guys, I've seen some HFC Glocks as well, bit more expensive but if it makes a large difference in quality I can probably stretch.

So on the magazine front, anything thats compatible with a TM Glock should work with the AA or HFC. Have I got that right?

As far as I'm aware the Army glock is a direct copy of the TM, and therefore should be compatible (don't quote me on that though). Haven't had any experience with the HFC.

            Re: Army Armament Glock 17

Ive had 2 hfc glock and 2 armys glocks.
HFC both suffered sticking slides after a few months despite lubing.
Army both suffered worn hammer problems and random full auto.

If you can strech go for a kjw glock 23 or even tm/ksc 17 for sure, no problems there.

            Army 17 - £55
            HFC 17 - £60
            KJW 23 - £80
            TM 17 - £105
            KSC 17 - £120

Their price pretty much reflects there quality.

TM/KSC are pretty equal though. KSC just has the power edge.

It is coming into winter though so gas gun don't work well/at all in the cold. Co2 gbb's do work in the cold.

              Re: Army Armament Glock 17

I prefer the slightly longer Glock 17 to the more compact Glock 23 (just an aesthetic preference really, but if I'm forking out over a ton for a gun I want it to look good damn it! :D) so probably go with the TM G17.

Thanks for all your help guys.
