Over barrel silencers?

I recently just got my hands a GBB M4. With the way the rails look on it i thought a silencer that sits flush with the rails would look great but the problem i have is that the barrel extends for about 70 mm past the rails.
Would i be able to have an over barrel silencer that clamps on to the outer barrel making it flush up against my rails?
Or is there another way of doing this WITHOUT getting a new other barrel?

need a bit more info like the size of your rail and the length of your barrel dude

Its a 28cm rail with a roughly 35cm barrel. I found a swiss arms over barrel silencer but i would need at least 10cm extra out the end of the rails to fit it.

Make a custom silencer out of a cheap silencer?!? Thar what I done...

I was considering doing this or just building one from scratch but i thought i would see if such a thing existed before i start turning out a new one ^^

Yeah that's a great idea , i might cut up one of my little olds ones i have lying around to try it before i hack a new one. Thanks.

Yea!!

Was pretty easy!!

Prob something easier to use than a old vert foregrip, and if I didn't have to wait for work each day (couldn't take my rifle with me)

Just stuck one of my small silencers on it and i don't thin i'll even bother with a new one. Because its thin enough it goes back into the rails about an inch which looks pretty wish , if my camera would stop being annoying i'll try and get a pic up.

i did the same mod to my 416 it really does change the look of the gun for such a small mod

I'd be careful with the OPS suppressor mate. It isn't designed for going inside your rail system. It's designed to go over your outer barrel on an M4/M16 and it attaches to your front sight. So if you don't have a standard front sight it may well not fit correctly.

Yeah because the thread is actually like halfway down the silencer, so if you don't have the standard amount of M4 outer barrel available it may not fit.
