AK to M70?

    AK to M70?

    Yep, I've sourced some Yugo M70 furniture and a rifle grenade muzzle device and want to turn an Ak into the Yugo rifle. Now the muzzle device and pistol grip will go on fine, but I'm wondering about the handgrip. The Yugo grips are longer and from what I've heard thicker... Has anyone had any personal experience?

    No personal experience, but would a SVD gas tube help as it is designed to secure a longer handguard?

      Well here's the difference (SVD might be a little long). AKM on top, M70 underneath.
