Help with changing the spring in my src G36/ FPS please.

hey everyone,

I am going to change my spring on my g36 to bring the fps down but before doing so I would like to know if I need to but I don't have a chronograph. I know what it was with my old g36c barrel which is a 247mm in length and 6.08 in diameter (standard barrel that comes with the gun) and have changed it to a 510mm 6.04 tight bore barrel so basically turned it into a g36e. Will this have affected the velocity of the bb? Because I believe physics says it should but I might be totally off, please tell me if I am but anyway it was firing at around the 326fps to 334fps (with hop being changed). Has the FPS of the gun dropped of rised?

Yes a TB barrel will raise the FPS, maybe by around 15-20fps, so it might just push it over the 350 limit

Will that not depend on if he matched the cylinder as well though Tiercel?

yea i have a m90 spring to replace it. will that keep it bellow 328fps? thanks

An M90 should keep it around 320'ish Id imagine.

As for the cylinder, I really have no idea. The whole cylinder/barrel ported/non ported ratio thing confuses the hell out of me.
