The copper ring! (And me being lazy)
30 January, 2012, 15:14
Hello there kind patrions of Zero In.
Now after installing a new hop rubber and barrel into my CYMA AK-47 and putting it back together after doing all 20 thousand screws correctly I discover the damn metal ring that should be inside the hop-up unit that goes over the barrel, Is this needed? I mean it was VERY tight getting the damn thing in (
) so is it important?
Thank you.

I think you just need it if you have a barrel to small for hop as it makes it fit tighter inside it

Its also to support the barrel in the hop unit to cut down on barrel movement.

Thanks, I will fit it when it gets back from the shop.
On another note, Is there anyway to stop the wobble from an under folding AK stock?

Doubt it really, the real steel ones wobble so the cheaply made replicas will too.
