best mods for a standard aeg m4 ?

ive got a standard aeg m4 skermished it a few times and now want a bit more power and accuraccy from it?
how can i do this as i keep getting told different by every one i ask ?
any help will be appreicted

Get a tightbore, which will increase power, range, accuracy etc.

And with the tightbore a decent hop rubber like tm or firefly. Leave the gearbox alone till something breaks;-) my advice

thanks for the advice how much would a tight bore and a hop up rubber cost approx
and would i be able to get a tight bore second hand or are they no good once used ?
also is there a manual (like haynes manuals for cars) you can buy that shows you how to take your gun appart and rebuild it ?
if there is where can i get one of these from?

Its called you tube buddy!!!

You can get a second hand barrel and hop rubber unit in the sales section. Spare parts. Madbull v2,prommy or systema are best barrels imo

Looking at 30plus for barrel and 5 to 15 for the rubber

true i didnt think of the old you tube lol might get a second hand barrel if i can afford one that comes up and a new rubber
last question where can i buy the right size grub screws and what size are they ?

excuse me if this is obvious to you Sam, but make a start by having a fiddle with the exsisting hop, you may find that has slipped a bit.

nothing is obvious to me pal taking these apart is alien to me but ill give it ago is it hard to adjust the hop up ? do you need any tools ?

More powerful spring will give you extra oomph you want. Dont really rate tightbores tbh! For the money you could be improving durability inside of da gearbox innit.

Aeg gearboxes really aren't a black art, once you've done it a few times, its childsplay!

should be a small wheel on the hop unit located behind the dust cover, adjust the wheel till you got the correct hop

how do you know when youve got the correct hop up or it adjusted right ? how do you turn the wheel as it feels a bit tight ?
