  • Advice on a new gun - shall I go for a G&G?

I'm thinking about getting a new gun - time to move on from my Ares M4.

I'd like to go for a top end but not silly gun (so no Systema).

I'm put off TM because of the plastic bodies -- definitely looking for full metal. I fall over and bump into things quite a lot. Am I right that all/most TMs are not full metal?

So, I figured I'd go for a G&G - something like this, perhaps:

Or the TR16 Top Tech version of that. But not settled yet.

I just wondered if there are some other G&G users out there who could give an opinion on G&G guns -- especially their reliability -- and also whether G&G is a good brand to go for? From the random conversations I've had they seem highly rated but always good to check. I could just have been talking to mad people

I'd be happy spending £300ish. I could spend up to £400 if it was really, really worth it. But no more than that.

    Any advice v gratefully received!

Generally G&G are considered a basic starter brand.

I've just gotten myself a plastic G&G though I'm yet to skirmish it.

I'd imagine a lot of people would recommend G&P instead for that price range
    Upcoming Games:
    None

    Armoury: G&G GR15 Raider-L, KJW P226, Cybergun M3, TM MP5 (x2)
Gear: British MTP, Warrior Assault Systems RICAS, Magnum Elite II Boots

If you are looking for full metal, G&P, KA and VFC are brands to consider.
