TM 1911 Mag Holsters and Gun Holster - Please help!!

I was looking at a TM M1911 and want the serpa hoslter for my chest, looked at the adapter to allow me to put it on the Molle, but my main concern was trying to find a holster for the magazines..?

I currently use a TM 5.1 and the mags are large so they fit perfectly into my Warrior Pistol Mag pouches, but the 1911's mags are rather thin so I am concerned that they will just get lost, does anyone have any good suggestions?

Rampage was talking about the friction ones but are they any good? What ones would you get? Are their any that would mount on a vest as well as a leg system?

A simple fix is to get a bit of tough thread a needle and a thimble, sew the sides of the mag pouches together in a plaet along the edge to make them narrower. This will make the mag poches thinner and the 1911 mags should stay in nicely. This solution has the added bonus that a few seconds with scissors or a sharp knife can remove the stitches and make the pouches suitable for fatter mags again.

That's what I did when I had a 1911 anyway. Hope this helps.

Alternatively, make a cheap spacer to fit in the pouch to provide the extra bulk needed.
