Question about buying an AEG

Hi,

I am wondering is it legal for my Dad to buy an AEG from a retailer and giving it to me to use it for matches. since i cannot register for UKARA yet, since i do not meet the requirements
and just to make it clear he is UKARA registered.

ermmm, i need to do the " play 3 games in no less than 2 months " thing before i can get registered. only played 1 so far

Technically speaking, if he has defence to VCRA (ie, UKARA registered etc) he can buy you one AS A GIFT and it is yours. So long as you give him no money for it, it is above board.

It's not really in the spirt of the act, but legal. The better and more accepted option would be he buys one, you use it on game days, but he retains ownership/possession.
