Re: UKARA help
I agree that the comp culture is bad and some people should be ashamed of themselves for what they claim for, however I'm not sure someone walking on the owners land who gets an eye shot out will agree with you........
Would not like to think what would have happened to the lad who got his eye shot recently if he was playing where Ajcman92 plays. Whilst I would imagine that due to the location it would be a quiet area, it's still cause for concern.

Indeed and as you say getting insurance would also help people to get a defence so its all good

Re: UKARA help
Well, funny enough. I got shot in the eye where i play. The game was stopped and i was looked at but it wasn't nearly as severe as what happened to Alex, but I did grow a sensitivity to light due to my pupil breaking literally so it won't adjust to light or dark, it's not handy

Re: UKARA help
Yell at me if this is too far out of the box thinking.
Have you thought of becoming a RFD and registering your site yourselves.
Sounds like you would be helping a lot of others in your vicinity.
Lord knows what expense is involved but someone on here may have an idea.

Viper Scout, that might have been a viable option for him, but as he clearly states in post #3 of this thread, he's shot himself in the foot, figuratively speaking of course. It must be dickhead day on here today, what with that and kids trying it on with swaps etc.

Re: UKARA help
I only done what i previously done when i was new on airsoft and only relied on local info and asked them what to do, then i figured out just how strict and unforgiving the laws are towards airsoft, and I regret what I done.
But I am a genuine, trustworthy player who calls there hits and follows the rules.

Seems as though a schlep over to Glasgow or Edinburgh is your only option.

Ignorance is not a valid defence against prosecution.
"I didn't know it was illegal to rob a bank with a gun, honest!"
If anything, a court will come down harder on ignorance. If you are unsure of ANY UK Law then go to
Legislation
or
CPS
. Most people are stupid, remember this rule.

Re: UKARA help
Ahh come on, forget UKARA, and forget about buying airsoft guns completely, its far too expensive anyway.
Go grab a nice cup' a tea and take up internet porn instead......way more satisfying.
