  • Transporting IF's?

    Hi,

I'm attending a game this sunday but the only way for me to get my secondary to where i am staying until then (a mates' house), is to travel by train. I'm currently not UKARA registered nor 18 (gun was awarded as a 17th birthday present) - firstly, is this an issue? Are there age limits for carrying an airsoft gun to/from games? Or is it that the case that as i already own it, i'm able to carry it.

As it is, i'm already taking a rucksack with other things in it, but is it legal to carry the gun at the bottom of my bag in it's original packaging and carry it with me in my bag. - Obviously unloaded and un-gassed etc. Or would i HAVE to inform a train attendant that i have a 'non-realistic-looking gun' in my bag and ask him to put it in the safe-room? Or should i not attract unnecessary attention to myself.

I don't THINK this is illegal...as i see occasional people where i live walking around with shotguns/air rifles slung on their back in gun cases/bags, which you can tell at one glance are clearly guns. However i would rather know for certain that i'm doing things correctly.

*The gun in question is a two-tone KWA KP45 NS2 system for anyone interested*

I realise for some this may seem a petty question, but i want to make sure i'm doing everything by the book and not cutting any corners, especially as it could potentially jeopardize myself or others' saftey if people got the wrong impression.

    Thanks.

Should be fine, especially as its two tone just make sure nothing can be seen

what you are doing sounds fine. But I'd turn to the UKARA site and other organisations that regulate these rules, first, rather than asking us first. We all know, but it's the fact that an organisation like UKARA make things as clear as possible to avoid confusion.

Some of us on here may not have all the traits to avoid confusion!

(if you read this more than once, either: A) pay attention, or; B) I am not being very clear, hense my point!)
