Re: Using a Borrowed gun without UKRA
I'm 30 bud so no problem with age!!
My friend isn't actually going to be there on the day, I'm picking it up on route and then dropping it back end of the day.

Don't worry about it, as long as you can prove that you have borrowed it from your friend then it is all legal.

Re: Using a Borrowed gun without UKARA
Done a bit more reading and the whole thing is a little grey! the rule seems to state you have to be (or at least intend to be) a regular skirmisher and have just cause for having the rif on you at that point. In the unlikely event of getting pulled I'd either on my way to or from the site (GZ)
I may have misunderstood so put me right if so! I suppose the other side of the coin is are the guys on site gonna let me use it? (Assuming it meets safety requirements)

I know so, the VCRA only covers purchasing, however lending and gifting are fine.

Crotmate is quite correct. You are not breaking the VCRA by transporting to/from a site but to ensure you dont stray into other areas of potenial difficulty keep them covered or in bags when not on the site.

Re: Using a Borrowed gun without UKARA
I will know speak in laymens terms =D Its not illegal to own a black gun or keep one you had befor ethe VCRA. The VCRA only applys when BUYING or SELLING R.I.F's sure your buddy can lend it to you aslong as no money changes your hands. And if your interested in buying one without a UKARA but a mate has their are certain loopholes in the act but i shant reveal them as ive been airsofting my ass off for mine and id feel like i was wasting my life.
