Under 18's SELLING guns?

Please correct me if I am wrong but what is the legal standing on SELLING RIF's. I am pretty sure you have to be over 18 am I right?

Yes, it applies for IF'S as well.

Nope, the VCRA is all about the buyer. Therefore it is legal for an under 18 to own and sell a RIF.

The under 18 restriction is based on the age of the purchaser of the RIF/IF. If the buyer is under 18, then both the buyer and the seller are committing an offence. If the buyer is 18+, then the only restriction is on RIF sales.

No mention is made in the act about sales by under 18's, or of ownership by them.

Selling and buying an imitation firearm is now a criminal offence. We don't have an exemption to the law, we have a standard defence that will avoid prosecution if WE can prove it applies to us.
