Are you UKARA registered? If so just give your UKARA number to the person you wish to buy from. Simples

As far as i know you cant. Unless the buyer has access to the UKARA database you would just be giving them letters and numbers.

So if you have a UKARA number, you give it to the person selling you the RIF along with your name and postcode and they contact Zero One (or another UKARA registered shop if there is such a place), they then confirm you are registered and you complete the deal. If you don't have a UKARA or a valid defence then you cant buy....simples - if its followed. If its another defence then upto the seller to do the leg work I would say and contact site / organisation to verify that you are ok to buy
