My last exam is tomorrow. So once that is done and I've done my viva, I will be uploading loads of videos :D
My rig was molle mounted which was fun... but made doorways quite tricky and the system was pretty securely attached to the body

Ok guys, here's my tutorial video for my 3rd Person POV rig. It shows my current molle/vest version, and then shows how to build an alternative rig that goes in a backpack. Hope you have success making your own.

I also quickly run through all the different angles I can now use, and have used over past videos. I'd like to know which angles you think are best.
It's about 15 mins long, but your views and comments would be greatly greatly appreciated.

Tutorial videos are a lot harder than game videos - you don't think about how much you're sick of your own voice and face haha.

Any video editing suite worth its salt will allow you to crop in a frame giving the effect of a digital zoom. For the shots where you see it from the guns perspective, he has a 2nd camera mounted on the gun itself.

Correctamundo. I use Imovie's 'Ken Burns' effect to do that zoom effect. And as Crasstoe says, I also have a camera on my gun.

Yeah they are pricey - but if you enjoy making the movies, then it's definitely the best you can get. I started out with a mini dvr that cost about 10quid, then moved up to a better one for about 40quid. Now I'm on two gopros that my wife bought me as gifts. It's never a waste of money if you get the most out of it

The angle thing I'm sure can be adjusted have you considered like a laser pointer of some sort.

My contour uses a built in laser so I can wear it and know exactly where it's pointing so same idea but on your pov but you may need a second person to angle it and help?

Anyway great work very enjoyable and the vector looks and sound brill I now want one :p
