Wasps nest

Right me n 3 other guys were moving up to the OP today at the weekender. We finally get to the top, and I move to the side and see if I can get some shots off with my sniper. Its only when my mate goes "eerrr.....Dave? Left?", that I realise theres a nest of extremely angry wasps in a nest about 10 inches to my left....

They chased us all the way down the path, stinging me in about 10 different places and getting up my shirt. We ended up running into an opposing team and getting plastered by them also....that was a painful 10 minutes.

That was brave marshal's two of us lol

One of us got stung (not me) and they where not best pleased.

We did call them team Black and Yellow, funnily enough they got the best hit ratio of the weekender dozens of confirmed hits by the Black and Yellows with no confirmed kills for the rest!! Well at the OP that is.

haha well actually I found it hilarious. I even found oen in my chest rig about an hour later when going for my mobile....they got bloody everywhere!

I would just like to add that it wasnt us that angered them and caused them to piss everyone off....they were already extremely angry when we entered the area :P

Oh no we hadnt....I was about 1m to their right....at no point did we touch/shoot/invade, or do anything else to anger the wasps. I assume it was the constant flow of people moving to and fro the OP, and of course the loud noises caused from the aegs/shouts. Wouldnt have surprised me either if a couple of stray bbs had hit the nest either considering where it was.
