right guys, ive been into airsoft for about 18 months now, but i havnt travelled to many sights, i live in Torbay, devon.
so i have two questions..........
whats the furthest you have travelled?
and was it worth it?
reasons and prices would be good, i would like to meet a few of you guys in the flesh rather than on the forum.
cheers rich.

Re: whats the furthest you have travelled for a skirmish?
I'll be travelling somewhere along the line of 550 miles (just an estimate, but it's close to if not more than that from Edinburgh) for the GZ Weekender .. my regular skirmish site (note not local, I havn't actually played there yet :P) CQB Scotland's woodland site is 59 miles from me (yay trains) and their newly opened CQB/Urban site is 14 miles from me (and stupid me cycled the round trip tonight for 4 hours of shooting on the site's opening night.. but it was worth it :P)

Rich, nearly all the Dartmoor Rangers from GZ Woodland are from Torbay and Newton Abbot. If you fancy heading up to play at GZ, drop me a PM and you can trip it with us. We usually try and make most games. We do leave about 7am though.

Everyone goes on about how inspiring the story of Anne Frank is, but when I keep a little jewish girl in my attic suddenly THATS NOT OK?

Re: whats the furthest you have travelled for a skirmish?
My regular site is about 50 mins drive away, which is a pain in the ass so going to start going to greenzone in Armagh which is about 29mins away.

About a 250 mile round trip from Southend to Close Action near Corby, but my semi regular trips to GZ are over a 200 mile round trip

Re: whats the furthest you have travelled for a skirmish?
from glasgow to reading, to test out "the mall", was a full on jock invasion for the day, 30 of us stuffed on a lil coach, left the saturday nite, played all day, drove straight back, no sleep was had by us, just lots of beer on the way home! roughly 40 hours of no sleep.
defo worth it tho, had a great day, quote of the day was "every site should have a soft play area!!"

Re: whats the furthest you have travelled for a skirmish?
Have travelled from Huddersfield to Copehill down twice, Hudds to Sennybridge twice, Hudds to Catterick more times than i can remember and had booked to go to the AI500 at Camp Blanding, USA, but a scan following a previous heart op meant i had to cancel.
Copehill, Sennybridge and Catterick have all been worth the travel.
