Re: Your greatest moment!
Well.. I ALWAYS bring up my Desert Eagle I know.. and I'm sure most of you are sick of it. But still I always have my most heroic moments with it.
At the GZ Weekender on the Sunday, I decided to go out as a sniper. Got bugger all with my SR-25, but with my little sniper team we eventually caught up with the main body of Bravo and joined in the assault on the labyrinth. Watching all the guys creep about with their rifles, I said 'right, sod this', took down the hood of my ghillie, put down thw SR-25 and stormed in with the deagle. Marching past everyone else I just casually strolled round a doorway and managed to blast the intel carrier in the balls in a small room from about 2 metres away
Then later I found myself in the MIDDLE of the delta attack on bravo base, hid in a bush and pulled the ghillie over like a sleeping bag. Left the SR-25 in a bush on the other side of the track and watched it through a tiny gap in my ghillie hood. Cue about 3 Deltas who wander over to it and say 'hmm.. why's there a rifle just sitting there like that? Do you think someone lost it?'
BLAP BLAP BLAP. All down. And they turned around in awe at the swamp creature that just came from nowhere and hand-cannoned them all!
Formerly 'Waltzinblack' but thought it was time to incorporate my Team callsign into my name

Re: Your greatest moment!
For me, its all about my charges
My greatest charge was probably one of my shortest. That said I got a kill with my katana and I made at least two Delta cack themselves
At the NAE09, My five man patrol ran head on into a much larger Delta patrol, maybe even ten times our number. We ran back 30m or so, then whilst three others kept running, Me and a team mate divided into opposing sides of a path, and when the Delta patrol caught up to our hiding spot, unaware of our presence, he fired a claymore and opened fire. The entire patrol turned to face him and opened fire, as i drew my katana and lept from the bushes with a scream of 'URRRAAAA!' striking one opposing trooper down in one swing. Then i got the s**t shot out of me :P

Re: Your greatest moment!
You don't have a max bang kill rule? (I think it's 2 at GZ)
One of my best was last week, sneaking up behind Delta at charlie, just me and my mate 10+ Delta facing away not thikning to check the bushes. Some guy walks past and schoom schoom, my bud with the M14 silently takes him down, they didnt know where it'd come from!
So we just sat there on the edge of thier base, really pushing it for a whle, then just came out BFG + Pistols charging! Got a few people in the back but we soon got shot.
The best moments in airsoft are the ones you work the hardest for most of the time I find.

Re: Your greatest moment!
This was many years ago now. A friend and I were at The Rock moving up a track onto a plateau. Three guys with PTWs appeared behind some rocks at the top and started firing at us. I dropped to my knee and fired a burst at them which got their heads down while my friend scrambled into cover. He started firing and I took cover on the other side of the track. We then leapfrogged up the path keeping their heads down. Shot one as we were moving up, then I reached their cover, leaned round and double tapped one guy in the chest from about half a metre (reflex shot, I would have called surrender...). The my friend moved up and yelled he could see the last guy running away :D

Re: Your greatest moment!
I think mine was at recon paintball last yearish. Both teams had to gather intel by killing the enemy, then whilst he was bleeding out walk him over to a marshal (who would then give the capturers the intel).
Me and a friend decided to take the long way round the main battle area (a large wooded area) by crossing a track and creeping along the side of it. We kept low creeping through some dense shrubs. We were so intent on getting completely behind the enemy we even let a party of 5 enemy past us.
When we thought we had gone far enough we re-crossed the track and made our way into the woods again. Spotting a marshal we thought it would be a safe bet to walk towards him, then four people popped out from the tress. We hit the deck and watched. Three guys wandering towards the marshal, the fourth in the middle of them with his hands up. When they got in range I jumped up and slotted all three (god knows what my mate was up to). As they were dead my mate and I grabbed one as a hostage and the marshal gave US the intel they needed

No bang rule at all- I had them dead to rights with an mp5 though; was less 'bang' than 'do you feel lucky punk?'
Having said that, if they had felt lucky I would have been f*cked as the gun was a lemon.

Re: Your greatest moment!
Mine would have to be at the weekender. I was on the close side of the hill that is adjacent to the Burrow. It was the first morning and we were holding off an assualt on Bravo base. It settled down to simply Aeviv and I vs about 4 or 5 opfor, who were coming up the hill fast. I had my M99 and aeviv was about 10 metres ahead of me with his AK, pinning them down so I could get shots off in peace. We were close to getting overrun and decided to fall back to the top of the hill. The last shot I took was just as aeviv was standing up, it cleared his rising head by about an inch or two, and proceded on to hit a lad who it turns out was about to level both of us. It was a single kill but I was quite happy with it.
I decided not to tell Aeviv about this one, bearing in mind how close it was

Coming out of the shadows under a halogen light in the old electrowerkz in ful SWAT kit and taking the opposing VIP plus his 2 man escort completely by surprise. I only fired 15 rounds in that game. Made 'em count tho.
