found a cheapish cam on that 'large bidding website' for about 50 quid. it's not a compact thing, a little smaller than the size of a glock 26 mag (all i could think to compare), and it has no controls other than the one or two buttons on the thing itself.
460 x 680 resolution, 30 fps. great in full light, not so great otherwise. i think i'll give it a go.
