Admin Contact
10 February, 2014, 18:15
Hi, my previous thread, while I admit was probably in the wrong section by mistake, was deleted by a very rude Mod.. I need to get in contact with an admin about a mod pertaining to racist and unethical behavior immediately.
I can not report the thread as it was deleted.
Thank you
Fizzy

Re: Admin Contact
Firstly, the thread wasn't deleted.
Secondly, how can you amount my actions or what I wrote as "rude"? An accusation about another moderator on this forum being racist and/ or unethical is a serious accusation. It is therefore to be dealt with via the proper means.
Having an open thread (which means other people can comment) can cause more disruption and if this case was ever to go to the police/ CPS, then they will want the facts and any information relating to the case, and not having to sift through comment after comment to see which is relevant.
Thirdly, you ignored my advice/ request which was to report the offending posts using the report feature that's included with all vBulletin Forum software... If the messages were private, they can still be reported for viewing by the relevant leaders of the forum.
Shall I close this post too or am I to be labelled as a "very rude" mod?

Re: Admin Contact
Hold on a second here. Apparently this forum is dealt with like some communist country. Let me say firstly, that after that one post, the thread was lock, so I could not clarify that the thread I was speaking about was actually closed and deleted. So your post regard how I can report the incident is not plausible as I could not reply to the thread as it was prematurely closed. In anycase, I pm'd you why I could not report the incident. As you in being rude, Yes it was rude to just close the thread. This is a serious issue and instead of dealing with it, you or whoever managed the situation by closing the thread and telling me to pretty much bugger off by using the report button.

It's not a communist community, think of it more of guidance (thanks Sean!)

What is that suppose to mean? Is closing threads guiding people?

Report away.
I have not removed any threads or posts of yours nor do I simply physically remove threads/posts. Any removed threads go into a hidden black hole so that when people such as yourself complain we have the FULL evidence to support/debunk the claim.

Re: Admin Contact
dude, I thinking you are jumping about this all wrong,as you have not read what I clearly stated. I said before, the thread I just posted was closed prematurely before I could have clarified anything. As what Fizzy as stated, only an Administrator could have deleted a thread. I did not, have not stated who did what, so you jumping at me is unnecessary.
In any case, someone has pm'd me about this, and hopefully it can be sorted as you do not fully understand what the issue really boils down to.

Re: Admin Contact
For the benefit of forum leaders, please see post below:-
http://forums.zeroin.co.uk/showthrea...uttle-Shipping
The above user is someone who has already been banned with a 100 point infraction. Therefore, in my mind, shouldn't be on the forum with a new name/ account/ details/ whatever.
Also, I don't see any racism or question about ethics.
EDIT - the ban was for trolling.

Re: Admin Contact
So after years of being on here, I am not allowed to defend myself especially when I was banned or spoken to differently because I was not speaking properly english? How else can I sort this out without creating another account and trying to contact an Admin about the issue?

maybe creating the new account, then contacting an admin? rather than creating new account, waiting, then contacting admin's

Re: Admin Contact
I've reported the relevant information etc. so Rampage (etc) can investigate if needs be.
But can I ask - the original thread was created because a moderator had acted in a racist manner, or, their behaviour was unethical. Can I now clarify - that the actual issue is that you were banned and that you'd like to appeal the reason for the ban?
And remember, forum rules about all posts being in English etc, I'm surprised your Internet Browser's built-in spell checker doesn't/ didn't go wild with all the mistakes made in that thread I linked to.

That can be argued with Bob, but right is right and wrong is wrong. Is there a time limit on these things or something?

1. By reading a few good books, I would start with the English dictionary and follow it up with a couple of Jane Austen novels.
2. By reading the forum rules and guides.
3. Follow the forum rules.
4. Don't come back and do exactly the same thing that got you banned in the first place.
5. PM an Admin and DONT gripe on the forum leading to point 4 above.
