Selling Rules Update

As From 01/12/09 all new classified Post for the below sections will be required to use one of the two templates.

AEG
Pistols
Support Weapons
Sniper Rifles
Others
Swaps
Accessories for Sale
Gear and Kit for Sale

Any post that has not used the template will be removed, there will be no further locking for information or PM requests.

Please feel free to copy and paste the templates, including all the bb code as this will give you the bold titles.

For Guns:

with the exception of the Size section, all parts of the template have to be filled in. Posting "Unknown" is completely acceptable.

Guide to filling out the form.

For Guns

Make: The manufacturer of the gun, i.e. TM or G&P Body, TM Internals

Gun/Model: The type of gun. i.e. M4 A1

Accessories: What the gun comes with, if anything. i.e. 3 x High Caps, 1 x 4000mah Large Battery

Condition: The state of the gun. i.e. Good, slight skirmish marks, but fully functional, be very accurate ensuring any quirks are included

FPS: Feet Per Second of the gun, if unknown put unknown or manufacturer's stats

Splits/Swaps/Part Exchange: State which you will accept. i.e. Will swap for a G36C. Any post asking for something that isn’t mentioned will be deleted until such time as the thread creator changes their mind, do not just put yes, as it confuses users to what your saying yes to.

Price/Payment: The full price of the gun and accessories, including payment methods

Pictures: Pictures should be added with the original post, or stated if not available, or only availible via PM or Email.

Request for pictures or for pictures to be emailed should be done via PM. If you wish to add further pictures to your thread please remember the 3 day bumping rule.

For Accessories

Same as the Guns with the addition that if your are selling Clothing including Tactical Vests please list sizes.

Is there any restriction on adding further comments/details after the template, as this was mentioned during the original discussion on this?

Would it be possible to request the same template to be used in the appraisals section too?

I know some people put non - airsoft related stuff in the appraisals section, but could we make it mandatory to follow the same template if you were wanting to get a price on a rifle, or an accessory?
There's been lots of posts in the section with so little information, making it almost impossible to make a proper judgement and estimation on the value of said products.

I wouldn't go as far as that...

Appraisals don't need the clarity of the template.

And you need alot more detail to make a judgement than make / model / condition.

Although "Appraisals" "non airsoft" and "wanted" are currently not subject to a mandatory template, although if a user wishes to use the current template in those section they may, It may be considered at a future date that a less precise template could be introduced for the remaining sections
