Multiple email notifications for updated threads

Title says it all really, I am receiving 3 emails for every updated thread at the moment, same email just 3 times.

Is anyone else getting this? Any idea how I can stop it? Getting mildly annoying..

The email notifications are managed via a chron job, when that chron job runs it may co-inside with other forum chron jobs which may cause it to re-set and try the action again, and since emails actually require communication with other server packages that can create even more 'lag' which wouldn't help the problem.

And if the server is busy it can drastically increase the chances of that happening.

Solution... Simple... Disable email notifications so when the chron job runs it has less to worry about (though everyone would have to do that for it to make a difference)
