Thread Locking

This is a request for mods/admins, etc. to post a reason before locking a thread.
This would serve the dual purpose of saying who and why.

It is generally for breaking forum rules, and if they did this the mods would spend most of the day posting up comments which they would then have to delete. A simple PM to a mod should suffice as on their interface when they delete a thread they have to put a reason why, think the same may go for locking but not sure.

yes threads are locked for breaking forum rules. If it's a classifiesd if it mentions sold and if a thread strays off topic
