Moderators

Now considering Moderators are supposed to be looking after the forum and what not, I have received messages which seem quite rude from my point of view regarding a post I created.
I haven't been active on here for quite some time, and was not aware of the new rules regarding your username and date being needed when selling. Now my thread has been deleted without warning or any notice.
I'm not impressed.

Re: Moderators
Was there not a big yellow box at the top of the page with that rule written in it?
I think it is there and you have to click the X to get rid of it.
Edit:
No X I can find. Mine is still there.

Would've been wise to read up on them beforehand, seeing as that rule is emblazoned in a banner at the top of the forum, so frankly, no excuse.
Edit: beaten to it.

Re: Moderators
What are you viewing the forum on?
Desktop/Laptop, Tablet or Phone? Are you using Tapatalk? If so, that may be your issue, as there's a whopping yellow banner for you to take notice of with mention of the ruling.
Ninja'd by Loki and Kiwi!
There's no "X" on mine to get rid of it.

Re: Moderators
I saw the message at the top yes, So I quickly put my name and date over the top in Paint. I haven't been active on here for nearly a year. I did not read the new amended forum rules page.
I'm still disappointed that I was not told by the moderator that the post was going to be deleted immediately....

Re: Moderators
To be fair bud, it
does
actually state that if you fail to adhere to the rule, your thread will be removed. Adding your name to the pic afterwards kind of defeats the object of the exercise, as anybody can purloin an image of a gun off the web and do the same.
Adding it on a piece of paper gives authenticity to your listing and shows that the item(s) is(are) in your possession.

Re: Moderators
As far as I'm aware the pic example is new............ I also had the same problem, it wasn't clear, I thought that text over it was fine, it wasn't clearly stated until recently.

you were.... standard notification text for incomplete sales thread, list deleted as necessary, this also returns you a copy of your post to aid in reposting it
it is not the moderators fault if you do not read this message when it is sent to you, and it is not their fault if they are short with you when you ask a question that answered by that message

Well, we 'thought' we didn't have to spell out that adding forum name & date electronically wasn't acceptable, for obvious reasons.
If anyone is still in any doubt as to why...
Then perhaps you'd like to buy my Veyron for £300+ Paypal, buyer pays fees. Must have UKARA licence!

I'll have that! Will you accept my money if I pay as "Gift?" That way, we can save on any fees.
