the thing alot of people dont use the extras that are avilible to put in searches such as the wildcards *word* ;p

Is there anyway we can change the search function to work with 2 or 3 letters? That may help with the new guys as it took a while to realise that it didn't work with less than 4.

I don't think there is going to be a change in stance about this, but it would be nice to see these newbi threads in the newbi section rather than the general discussion.

Maybe we should put a guide up for first guns as it may help, it may not but it can't hurt to try. And one thing I have seen on a different forum is he newbi section rite at the very top of the page so thats where people would look first.

Even if only 1 newbie a week reads it, that's 1 less 'what gun' thread a week so might be worthwhile. Still need to sift through the other 49 though :p
