Thread Subscription Help

Right its probably a little thing but its driving me ape, how do you stop yourself being subscribed to threads you post in? Getting fed up of my Email getting spammed with thread updates, I know how to remove subscriptions once you are subscribed but how do you stop it auto subscribing all together? It's probably something little that I am being daft in not seeing but its driving me nuts!

In your user CP, there is a section about subscription. "Default Thread Subscription Mode" change that to 'do not subscribe'

and for those who don't know for Individual threads the "Thread Tools" drop down at the top of each thread allows you to Subscribe/Unsubscribe .
