For me it all depends on the situation. If i'm selling something and state i don't want that in swaps, or no splits then if someone asks or offers what i don't want i generally won't reply. Or if i do reply it will be a sarcastic comment.

I will however always answer to legitimate questions and what not.

Or even an update on a post saying something along the lines "i really am only interested in the abive"

VERY frustrating. If I receive a PM, I try to answer it as quickly and politely as possible. It is just a matter of common courtesy. If I've done a deal with somebody (bought or sold), then I expect to be kept informed of progress, or I inform the buyer of progress at my end. Two sayings spring to mind......
