Problem with the Search tool ?

Hi folks, it seems no matter what acronym I enter in to the search tool it serves the reply "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."
Tried the following to no avail : TM, G3 SAS, G3, mp5
However, it's fine with whole words: Marui, Glock
Even though several of the results from "Mariu" also had "TM" in the thread title.
Which is just confusing

You need to put a * after them as they are too short. TM* G3* etc this will give you a wildcard result and you can skim through the results.

Actually, it needs to be a minimum of 4 characters, so if you were searching for G3 you wouldneed to type
*G3*

Ah that makes more sense now, thanks - but why does it not like "G3 SAS" which is over 4 characters?

Yeah, the space signifies 2 seperate words, and the first word only has 2 characters
