After a few posts on a thread which can no longer be found .
I feel worried by a few comments that insinuate that the user because they are friends with a mod can do what they like? I think this is disgraceful .

Re: Mods integrity
I would like to say that there is no excuse or reasoning for breaking the forum rules and/or etiquette by anyone on this forum, be they friends or not.
Every situation is approached and dealt with in accordance to the rules and guidelines that have been laid out.
There may be cases where assistants/moderators choose not to get involved in in order to remain impartial and unbiased. In those cases there are other assistants/moderators that deal with the situation.
I will end by saying moderator run rant threads are excluded from the above
