Their choice to be honest. They could have decided not to trade for any number of reasons.

Re: not being funny
sounds a bit childish to be honest, but hey its their decision
some people on this forum are so impatient that they take you going offline to live your life a sign of decline, kind of like how their parents declined them..awww ..no i kid.

They havn't committed to buy... maybe a better offer came along, something they advertised for!
It's annoying, yes, but if they want it gone....

I read the title and I agree. It's
not
very funny at all.

You snooze you lose.
Life is a short warm moment, death is a long cold rest,
you get your chance to try, in the twinkling of an eye,
eighty years with luck or even less.

Re: not being funny
Completely up to the other guy unfortunately. He never accepted your offer, simply asked for pics, so he can do as he pleases.

Re: not being funny
A seller can sell to whoever he likes and a buyer can buy from whoever he likes, its called free will, if he went with a different offer that's up to him, if you were offline maybe someone came along with a much better offer or he was looking for a quick swap.
Look on the bright side he may of trying to get rid of said item so fast because it didn't work so is trying to palm it off.
This Post may contain my opinions and if you disagree with them Tough S**T!

Re: not being funny
it happens - and it can be a pain but
its not an excuse i would use - i try to be as honest as possible
it is the sellers perogative to choose who to sell to
but like it was said above - you missed out but it could be a blessing

Re: not being funny
I appreciate it could feel like a bit of a kick in the tits, but in my mind a deal is not a deal until things get handed over/ put in the post.
I had a fair amount of interest in one of my items, and I went for the most convenient deal over the best value deal. Although I do let all interested parties know, I'm just nice like that.
In many cases, people don't realise that good manners and communication go both ways. If I, as a potential buyer, expessed interest and you had gone out of your way for something, ie pictures or data, and it turns out I was no longer interested, you'd still have a simple "thank you, but....". Its not difficult.
